Andalusia 2012 – A Travelogue – part 6 – Córdoba

Part 6 of a 7-part travelogue. This section deals with Cordoba, the ancient Moorish centre of which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The writer spent four hours in the city. The visit to the gardens of the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos is beautifully illustrated with stunning photographs.

Then they travelled on to La Mezquita, where the writer gives an interesting background of the history and architecture of this mosque/cathedral, including photos of its interior and of the Roman Bridge.

The writer and his family also visited some of the residential streets and shops, all again illustrated with evocative photography. There are also two short videos at the end.
