British Are The Largest Buyers Around The Costa

These are two short articles about the Spanish property market.

The first one suggests that British cash buyers aged between 40 and 55 form the majority of foreign non-resident buyers of Spanish property on the Costa Blanca.

In 2012 there was a 60% rise in numbers of non-resident house purchasers in this area, with 1100 properties sold by October, which represents 12% of the total.

The second article passes on news that the Spanish government will grant residency permits to people who buy property worth more than 160 000 euros. This reform of immigration policy is mainly aimed at Russian and Chinese buyers, among whom there is a high demand for Spanish property.
